If the only way we have experienced standing is being upright, we have missed a large part of the intelligent dynamism of your bodies. While all parts of the body are adaptable, dynamic, this is especially true of the feet and the legs. All that we can do while still being on our legs is quite astounding: from climbing trees to dancing on our toes. In this session, we explore a a small part of this variety of actions in the standing positions: that of standing forward extensions. The category of forward extensions extends from from gentle. restorative actions, to deep and intense asanas. Here, we challenge the legs to be firm and steady, as we start extending towards the front.
