Description

As we age, legs invariably become weaker.  And as the legs become weaker, we lose confidence in using legs.  This leads to a vicious cycle of further weakening leading to further inactivity leading to further loss in confidence.  Aging is not the only condition in which this vicious cycle can set in.  This can also happen after a prolonged illness, and chronic weakness.

This session aims to break this cycle by showing options for gaining strength and intelligence in using the legs in seated and supine positions.

Note: There are a couple of (supported) standing and balancing asanas in this sessions.  Please use caution in approaching these positions.  If you are recovering from an illness or legs are weak for other reasons, omit these positions.
