Description

Exploring the connection of foundational asana – standing, seated and supine – to arm balancing positions.  This session starts with preparatory actions separately for the upper and lower limbs, and proceeds to bring these actions together in standing asanas.  The simplest of the arm balancing positions are attempted with supports.

Note:

  • Most arm balancing positions involve abdominal action, and are therefore not suitable in case of any abdominal tenderness, surgery etc. and for women during menstruation.
  • These sessions have several positions where we progressively increase load on the wrists.  Those with any wrist injuries/ weakness are advised caution.
