Description

Using the concepts of foundational asana to transition to unsupported and final positions of arm balancing.  This session starts with preparing the wrist for bearing load, reinforces some of the concepts of the  previous session, and then attempts a couple of arm balancing positions in their supported and independent variations.  The session ends with actions to bring the abdomen back to a neutral state, and with breath-work.

Note:

  • Most arm balancing positions involve abdominal action, and are therefore not suitable in case of any abdominal tenderness, surgery etc. and for women during menstruation.
  • These sessions have several positions where we progressively increase load on the wrists.  Those with any wrist injuries/ weakness are advised caution.
