Description

Focus: The chest should feel expansive, light, spacious – in and outside of the Asana position. This is not achieved by simply thrusting the chest forward.  How we use our arms, shoulders, and back effects the condition of the chest significantly.  This session explores the role of the shoulder blades in accessing the ribcage.  While this is a fundamental action for all Asana categories: back arches, twists, forward extensions and inversions, this session links it to back arches and twists

Props needed: blankets, belt, 2 block,1 chair, access to a wall

Note:
Those with shoulder injury are advised caution in while approaching some of these positions.
