Exercises to Compliment Walking Routine in 5 Parts (Short Course; all levels; FREE Resource)
Walking is a wonderful, no-cost, no-training, no-equipment exercise. The mental and emotional benefits of walking are no less. However, it is not true that walking is a 'complete exercise in itself' ( we speak more about this in the 'Introduction' recording) If you walk every day (or almost every day), and have been doing so (or intend to do so) for many more years, you need to add at least a few simple exercises to your walking. This will ensure that you can continue to do what you love - walk pain free for many more years. This Short Course is divided into before-walking, and after-walking exercises. But they need not be done just before going out for a walk or after returning from a walk. They will be equally effective done as separate sessions at any time during the day. In fact, they are effective sessions by themselves even if you dont go for a walk regularly). These exercises are mostly derived from the wisdom of asana practice. They are safe to be done by those with no experience in asana practice.
(Follow-along sessions have less instructions and demonstrations. For best understanding, they are meant to be done after the 'detailed' sessions)
